Day 2
Bomdila to Tawang (180kms)
After breakfast check out from the hotel.
Brief stoppage at Sela for tea and photography at the sister lakes in Sela pass.
After reaching Tawang, check in at homestay.
Rest on arrival.

Day 3
Tawang Sightseeing
At sunrise visit the historical 400 years old Tawang Monastery and attend the vibrant prayer session of the monks.
After breakfast, visit the birth shrine of the 6th Dalai Lama and the 1962 Indo-Sino war memorial.
Visit the local market in afternoon after visiting the open Buddha statue park.
Light & sound show in the evening hours organized by the Indian Military.

Day 4
Tawang to Bum La to Tawang
Morning at 9-00 am start for Bum La Pass which is located about 37 km away from, PTSO Lake (Pankang Teng Tso Lake) & Songetster Lake is lake was formed during the earthquake of 1950.
The lake nestles between huge mountains and is clear and beautiful with what looked like a hundred bamboo poles standing straight up in the water all over the lake
These were actually ramrod straight trees without any branches or leaves on them growing in the lake-water. The entire scene is breath-takingly beautiful.
The air is cold and biting and even in our warm clothes we felt cold.

Day 5
Tawang to Zemithang to Tawang (90kms)
Full day excursion to Zemithang , Sandwiched between Bhutan and China, this Shangri-La lies in the remote north-western corner of Arunachal Pradesh, two hours away from Tawang.
It is situated at the head of the valley formed by the Namyang Chu River which eventually flows into Bhutan. Grand vistas of snow clad mountains as far as Bhutan can be seen from here on a clear day.
This region is dominated by the Monpa tribe, a predominant Buddhist community. The Monpas residing over here mainly belong to the Panchen sub sect bearing a close affinity to their Bhutanese counterparts.
This magnificent stupa built on the lines of the Bodhnath stupa of Nepal has a base of 120 sq. feet and a height of 100 sq. feet, making it the second largest stupa in Asia.

Day 6
Tawang to Dirang (140kms)
After breakfast, drive to Dirang.
Visit Nuranag Waterfall on the way.
Visit the magnificent Dirang Monastery.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati.
On arrival check in Hotel.
Evening at leisure or if time permits go for River Cruise (subject to availability direct payment basis) on the mighty river Brahmaputra.

Day 7
Dirang To Guwahati
Tawang
The Buddhist monastery of Bomdila is the repository of culture and is among primary attractions It has a lot of attractions for the tourists with its cool climate, Apple orchards, artistic people, snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Buddhist Gompas.
On the way there were many big and small clear mountain lakes which were also very beautiful. The lake has bare trees standing like guards in vigil. The lake is popularly known as Madhuri Lake after her shooting a film in Arunachal Pradesh.
It is not uncommon to see men and women dressed in the traditional dorma and singka with a small cap made from yak hair. Most of them still stay in quaint stone houses built decades ago, lending a very special charm to this land lost in time, via Lumla visit Gorsum Choten the mystic stupa built sometime in the 12th century. There are a few small villages on both sides of the river like Lungpoo, Muchat where homestays have been developed.These homestays are basic but ideal for those who enjoy solitude, serenity, nature and culture.
Day 8
Departure From Guwahati
After breakfast drive to Guwahati then drop at Airport for onwards journey. Tour concludes with sweet memories.
The district head-quarter of West kameng district is a beautiful small town situated at a height of about 8000 ft. above the sea level from where one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range.
This place has a tourist lodge, a craft center displaying local crafts and a shopping center where the visitors’ gets first feel of the local version of Himalayan life style after reaching at 05:00 pm.
